"John & Paul have a beautiful holiday cottage and are fantastic hosts 😇😇 They were a great help booking the generously discounted, flexible, car ferry tickets. Their attention to detail to accommodate our stay with two small dogs🐶🐶 was superb. The property is clearly loved, very tastefully presented and clean throughout. On arrival we found a bountiful welcome basket of fresh produce, a nice bottle of wine🥂 and oat milk to satisfy my wife’s dairy intolerance. Our holiday was so good we didn’t want it to end and wished we could stay longer. Following a brief text message exchange with John, he manage to amend our ferry ticket and extend our stay - all within a couple of hours! Just Amazing 😃We enjoyed every minute of our stay 😎especially with such good weather. We will definitely book again and recommend this beautiful holiday cottage to all our friends. THANK YOU BOTH 😇😇."
"Winkle cottage is actually two cottages which have been tastefully and imaginatively knocked into one residence. The cottage is very stylish and the bedrooms both have king size, very comfortable beds. The cottage is very well equipped and the welcome basket and teas, coffee pods and breakfast cereal are all supplied. Although our dog didn’t use any of the equipment and treats supplied for him by our hosts as we had brought our own for him - they were all there meaning we felt that our dog was very welcome. We did not realise before we visited that Winkle Street is actually a bit of a tourist attraction and although it only has vehicle access for residents people do walk down and occasionally stop and peer into the kitchen or lounge. However that’s because it is such a beautiful and tranquil spot. The garden is opposite the house. across a narrow road and a private bridge over the stream and is beautifully landscaped. It is a nice place to sit . Highly recommended and thank you to our hosts!"
"A really lovely cottage in a charming location. The house was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The welcome pack, tea, coffee, breakfast cereals and logs for the fire were a really thoughtful touch and the hosts arranged our ferry crossings with an excellent discount. It is the perfect place for a peaceful week and we were delighted to be able to feed the ducks and watch the heron."
"Oh my goodness! So beautiful! Location is the prettiest street on the entire island- fact. The cottage is beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The hosts left some lovely goodies which was very much appreciated. Will be back.Thank you."
"Fantastic cottage so much TLC in the decor and attention to detail. Best kitchen we've had at a cottage and also really well stocked with utensils etc. Can't fault a thing, hosts also very responsive and nice."
"Absolutely stunning! We really enjoyed playing with the Alexa to turn on and off the light on the table. It was rustic come futuristic. Loved all of the gadgets it had to offer and the comfort it provided. We actually wished we hadn't booked as much as we did as we loved the down time in the cottage the most! We would come again and again, hoping to visit in the summer too. Thankyou for the pleasant stay."
